And S’Agaró has been, and continues to be, the setting for numerous filmings and TV series that have projected the community to the world, with screen stars such as Ava Gardner, Elisabeth Taylor and Orson Wells.

At the “Masia Bas” those productions in which S’Agaró has been the main stage will be remembered. The outdoor space of the facility will host the screening of several of these films in open-air cinema sessions.

The “Masia Bas”, classified as a Bé Cultural d’Interès Nacional in 1988, is located in the center of Fanals de Platja d’Aro, it is a public facility of the Castell-Platja d’Aro-S’Agaró council hall and responds to the cultural needs of the municipality. It debuted as a cultural space in the summer of 2016 and, since 2017, it has 5 rooms that function as an exhibition space throughout the summer.
