Among the different events that will make up the celebration of the Centennial of S’Agaró, the S’AGARÓ CENTENARY REGATTA cannot be missed, which has the support of the Club Nàutic Port D’Aro and the Club Nàutic de Sant Feliu, and the sponsorships of “S’AGARÓ HOTEL” and “BARNES LUXURY REAL STATE”.

From the beginning of its existence, S’Agaró became the venue for numerous sailing regattas organized for many years in collaboration with the Barcelona Nautical Club and the Maritime Club of that city, from which numerous boats of the Class sailed. 6mts.F.I. and sailing cruises. It was also the arrival and departure point of the international Mediterranean trophy, and its Sant Pol bay, a regatta field for the Snipe and Patí de Vela classes, to later evolve into the Vaurien, Estel, 420, 470, 505, Ponant classes. ,… and others.

The intention is to organize a popular regatta, which will be held on a circuit close to the coast, in the section between Punta de Port Salvi in ​​Sant Feliu de Guixols, and Punta Prima on Sa Conca Beach in S’Agaró, with Departure and arrival point in front of the plaza with the emblematic Camí de Ronda viewpoint.

Prizes will be distributed to the top three finishers in the following four classifications:
– Three first classified in the regatta category, with vessels measured and application of respective ratings.
– Three first classified in the Rally category, with a rating attributed to each model of which there is evidence.
– Three first classified in regularity.
– Three first classified in “Centennial Image”

On the same night of August 15, a dinner-lounge sponsored by the establishment itself will be held in the gardens of S’Agaró Hotel and in which four crew members for each registered boat will be invited without the slightest charge to participate, to witness and at the same time intervene in the distribution of the prizes. As first prize, the Barnes Trophy will be awarded.

Throughout the aforementioned festival, apart from the presentation images of the Audio Visual of the Centenary of S’Agaró, the sponsor of the festival, and the sponsor of the event, spectacular images of the regatta and the boats and crew will be projected. participants in it, taken from the water and from a drone, images that will help each voter to identify who they should allocate their vote to. It will be a pleasure to send a copy of these images, as a pleasant memory of this day, to the participants who request them. After the dinner and the distribution of prizes, a fireworks display will be launched in front of the Hotel, in the bay of Sant Pol.
